What to wear for a photo session
What you wear shows up in the frame more than you think. These tips help you choose outfits that work with the light and do not overpower your face.

Tips
Solid colours and calm tones
White, beige, soft blue, and gentle green work almost everywhere. Avoid bright neon if you want a timeless look.
No large logos or text
A big slogan on a shirt becomes the focus. Prefer simple textures — linen, merino, soft cotton.
Layer, but in moderation
A jacket, scarf, or nice coat adds dimension. Check that collars and buttons do not look too heavy in frame.
Coordinate, but do not match identically
For families — one colour palette, different outfits. For couples — harmony, not identical suits.
Shoes and accessories
Comfortable shoes for the session, a neutral bag off to the side. Jewellery — one statement piece beats a full set.
Studio vs outdoors
Structured shapes suit studios; flowing fabrics that move in the wind work outdoors. If you are planning a family photo session in Riga, pack a spare top for children.
